Job description:

Guthrie Clinic, a non-profit, physician-led, integrated health care delivery system is seeking Urologists for positions in Sayre, PA and Corning, NY.

  • Ideal candidate will focus on general urology or be fellowship trained in female urology, or reconstructive surgery.
  • Typical work week is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm; 2 days in clinic, 1 ½ day in operating room, ½ day minor procedures, and 1 day in a regional office.  Minimally demanding call scheduled at 1:4.
  • Fully equipped urology surgical practice and supporting staff to perform robotic or other surgical procedures.
  • Use of electronic medical records system – EPIC and PACS (radiologic imaging) that can be accessed at home.
  • Requirements include professional medical degree, 5 years of resident training in urology, license to practice Medicine in PA and NY. 
  • If Corning Centerway is the primary location than may be assigned rotations at non-primary office sites in Corning, NY, Ithaca, NY and Sayre, PA. 
  • If Sayre is the primary location than may be assigned rotations at non-primary office sites in SouthPort Office - Elmira, NY and Corning Hospital - Corning, NY.

Located just a few miles from the New York border, the Sayre area is proximate to the major cities of the northeast: Philadelphia, New York City, Buffalo, Rochester and Niagara Falls and is 30 miles south of the Finger Lake region on New York State.
